POLICE: Car crash seriously injures two people

WORCESTER Co., MD – Police are investigating after a car crash sent two people to the hospital with serious injuries on Saturday.

The accident happened at approximately 11:21 a.m. on US 113 North Bound in the area of Goody Hill Lane in Worcester County, according to Maryland State Police.

A preliminary investigation suggests a 2003 Cadillac swerved between lanes numerous times before crashing into the left hand shoulder guard rail.

Police say the driver, William Frazier, sustained life threatening injuries and was transported by Trooper 4 to Peninsula Regional Medical Center. The front seat passenger, Mae Frazier, was transported by EMS to PRMC with serious injuries.

US 113 North Bound was shut down for approximately 1 hour following the accident. Troopers were assisted by the Worcester County Sheriff’s, Berlin Police Department, MSP Trooper 4, State Highway Administration and Berlin EMS.

The investigation into this crash is ongoing.
