Traffic stop leads to drug charges for Millsboro man

LEWES, Del – A Millsboro man is behind bars after police say they found drugs in his possession on Friday.

Delaware State Police say they spotted 29-year-old Tevon Savage in the passenger seat of a Dodge Avenger in the Love Creek Mobile Home Park in Lewes. Police knew that Savage had an active warrant out for his arrest, so they reportedly pulled over the car and arrested him.

Police searched Savage and say they found approximately 2 grams of crack cocaine and .7 grams of powder cocaine in his possession. Savage was charged with the following:

Possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance (2 counts)

Tampering With Physical Evidence

Resisting Arrest

Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

He has been committed to the Sussex Correctional Institution on a $13,200 dollar cash bond.
