Three Md. teens arrested in connection to shots fired report in Seaford

SEAFORD, Del. – Seaford Police arrested three teens early Wednesday morning after receiving a report of shots fired in the Chandler Heights apartment complex.

On arrival, officers saw a vehicle quickly leaving the complex and initiated a traffic stop. They then made contact with the three individuals inside the car, identified as 19-year-old Dale Seth Jr., 18-year-old Keiford Copper III, and 18-year-old Ja’Bron Cooper, all of Cambridge. A semi-automatic handgun was also found inside the car.

Further investigation revealed that the three suspects came to the apartment complex with the intent to break into vehicles when they were confronted, during which one of the suspects fired a single shot. The suspects then fled back to their vehicle.

No one was struck by gunfire or injured as a result of this incident.

All three were charged with carrying a concealed deadly weapon (firearm), conspiracy 2nd, and criminal trespass 3rd. They are currently being held at the Department of Corrections on $7,500 secured bail each.
