Salesianum takes down Easton in season-opener

DOVER, Del. – Salesianum started their quest for their fifth straight state championship Friday with a 15-7 victory over Easton.

The Sallies were cruising offensively right out of the gate with a five-goal first half from sophomore Brian Wong to go along with 11 ground balls. Wong finished the game with seven goals to lead Salesianum in the win.

Defensively, the Sallies were strong on all fronts, holding Easton to just one shot in the first half. Five different players tallied a goal for Salesianum. The Sallies will take on Chaminade HS (NY) in their next game while Easton will take on Howard HS on April 1.
