Millsboro Police Department adds new security cameras
MILLSBORO, Del. – The Millsboro Police Department is looking to grow by upgrading their security system. They recently installed three cameras in the main street area.
According to Sergeant David Moyer, the police department had to partner with several businesses in order to install the cameras. Moyer said these cameras are crucial for when police are away from the station.
“We are a 24 hour, seven days a week, 365 days a year department,” said Moyer.
“However, during the evening hours officers are not always here, however, the camera is always recording so that if an incident does occur we can always go back and watch the incident unfold,” said Moyer.
The sergeant also said this project will help to both prevent future crimes and monitor traffic in the area.
