Five goal performance from Vilov lifts Parkside over Easton
SALISBURY, Md. – Leah Vilov netted the game-winning goal as Parkside held on in the finals seconds in a 9-8 victory over Easton.
Vilov tallied five total goals for the Rams and was the main offensive catalyst late in the second half. Easton found a pair of goals in the first and trailed by three headed into the half, but turned things around quickly in the second.
The Warriors went on a run and were able to tie the game up at 8-8 late in the second. Vilov was fouled with time winding down in the game and netted a free position to give Parkside the lead. Easton earned a free position shot of their own with five seconds to go in the game, but couldn’t find the back of the cage.
