Fire officials investigating early morning house fire in Lewes

LEWES, Del. – The Delaware State Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating after a blaze broke out at a Lewes home early Thursday morning.

Crews from the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company, Rehoboth Beach Fire Company, and the Lewes Fire Department responded to the fire inside a single wide manufactured home with additions, located at 22 Powder Horn Lane, just off of Coastal Highway.

The cause and origin of the fire remains under investigation.
