Wicomico County public schools cancels all field trips to Baltimore City

SALISBURY, Md. – Parents of students in the Wicomico County School District are invited to meet with the Superintendent of Schools, Dr. Donna C Hanlin, during an open door session from 4-6 P.M. on Wednesday January 16th at the Wicomico County Public Schools building, located at 2424 Northgate Drive, Salisbury, MD 21801.

According to the press release parents are encouraged to come and meet with the Dr. Hanlin one-on-one to “express concerns, offer comment, or ask questions on any issue involving Wicomico schools”. Those in attendance will have approximately 15 minutes to meet with Dr. Hanlin and no appointment is necessary. If there are more visitors in attendance than the time allotted, than there will be follow-up sessions scheduled.

This notice comes just days after Allen Mitchell, a guidance counselor at James M.
