James M. Bennett Principal and Vice Principal placed on leave

SALISBURY, Md. – Multiple sources confirmed to 47 ABC, on Tuesday, that James M. Bennett High School Principal Amy Eskridge and Vice Principal Kimandi Binns have been placed on leave. This comes just days after Allen Mitchell, a guidance counselor at the school, was arrested for allegedly having sexual relations with at least one student.

Right now it is unclear whether Eskridge and Binns being placed on leave is in relation to the charges against Mitchell.

47 ABC reached out to Wicomico County Public Schools for a statement on the matter but we were told by a spokesperson that “they do no comment on personnel matters”.
