Dover moves to 13-0 as last undefeated team in Delaware

DOVER, Del- Behind 24 points from Eden Davis, The Dover Senators moved to 13-0 on the season with a 69-49 win over Smyrna.

From the opening tip off, the Senators dominated the ball in all phases of the game. Winning the first quarter 21-16, Dover would go on to outscore the Eagles in the second 23-10 making the halftime score 44-26. Eden Davis led all first half scorers with 14 points for the Senators. Smyrna’s Nashon Sylvester led his team with 13.

In the second half, the Eagles would pull a little closer in the third quarter cutting the Senator lead to 19. But, the fourth quarter belonged to Dover. D-High would pull away and go on to win 69-49. Eden Davis led all scorers with 24 points along with 11 from Elijah Allen and John Lassiter. Nashon Sylvester led the Eagles with 17 points.

Dover will look to continue their undefeated season when they host Caesar Rodney next Tuesday. Smyrna will look to get back in the win column when they host the Ravens of Sussex Tech also next Tuesday.
