Wanted Del. women arrested in connection with two burglaries

GEORGETOWN, Del. – Delaware State Police have arrested the two female suspects that were wanted in connection with two area burglaries.

45-year-old Kathy Hunsucker, of Selbyville, and 49-year-old Christina Harvey, of Dagsboro, have been charged in connection with two burglaries that took place in the unit block of Leah Street in Georgetown in early November.

Officials say that on both occasions, Hunsucker and Harvey forced entry into the homes and took purses, jewelry, and other items before fleeing the scene.

Both women are charged with burglary second degree dwelling, possession of burglar tools, theft (felony), conspiracy second degree, and criminal mischief.

Hunsucker was taken into custody Tuesday evening, on Power Plant Road in Dagsboro. She received $16,500 unsecured bond, but was committed to the Delores J. Baylor Women’s Correctional Institution for violation of probation charges.

Harvey turned herself in at Troop 4 on Wednesday. She was committed to the Delores J. Baylor Women’s Correctional Institution on $25,700 secured bond.
