Seaford Police investigating shooting incident

SEAFORD, Del. – Seaford Police are currently investigating a reported shooting incident that happened Thursday night.

Police were called to the 300 block of Third Street in Seaford for a reported shooting just after 10 PM. On arrival, police discovered that an occupied residence had been shot several times by unknown individual(s).

No one inside of the house was injured in the incident but police are still looking for answers like who fired the shots and why? What authorities do know is that this wasn’t an accident.

Eric Chambers of Seaford PD says, “Right now with what we do know is that this definitely wasn’t a random act, you know, they weren’t just going down streets shooting at houses. No this was a targeted act.”
