POLICE: Easton woman faces charges after allegedly kicking and shoving officers

EASTON, Md. – An Easton woman is facing multiple charges after police say she shoved and kicked officers during her arrest on Saturday.

Police say on December 29th, officers responded to a report of a disturbance in the municipal parking lot located on West Street in Easton.

When officers arrived on scene, they reportedly made contact with 28-year-old Crystal Nimmo from Easton.

Police say Nimmo was intoxicated, and had been fighting with other women.

Nimmo was allegedly uncooperative and yelling obscenities at officers. Police say Nimmo was given several chances to comply with officers request to stop causing a disturbance, but Nimmo allegedly refused and pushed one officer. Nimmo was then taken into custody where she allegedly continued to fight with officers. Police say Nimmo kicked one officer and attempted to bite another while in custody.

Nimmo was charged with 2nd degree assault, resisting arrest, failure to obey a lawful order, and disorderly conduct.

Nimmo was taken to the Talbot County Detention Center Central Booking for processing.
