Delmar Elite Christmas program in need of donations

SALISBURY, Md. – The annual Delmar Elite Christmas program is back Saturday and donations are needed!

Not to be confused by its name, the program will hold its event in Salisbury at the Salvation Army!

Each year the organization holds its gift-giving program and holiday dinner for children and families in need.

They need gift cards, toys, t-shirts, food and any other gifts that you can think of to make Christmas extra special for these kids!

Organizer Nichole Collingsworth said, “We host and adopt children for Christmas time. This year we have about 70 kids that we’ve adopted between all my sponsors and all of my helpers.”

The event is Saturday the 22nd at the Salvation Army from 5 to 9 p.m. on Jersey road all are welcome!
