Administrative search leads to drug charges for Dover man

DOVER, Del. – A Dover man was arrested on several drug charges following a search of his residence Thursday afternoon.

Dover Police and Delaware Probation and Parole conducted the search at a home in the 1200 block of Harrison Drive, in Dover. Police say the search led to the recovery of 8.4 grams of crack cocaine, packaging materials/paraphernalia, and $3,190 in suspected drug money.

The resident, 33-year-old Tyrone Harrell was arrested and charged with violation of probation, possession with intent to deliver crack cocaine, possession of crack cocaine, and drug paraphernalia.

Harrell is currently being held at the Sussex Correctional Institution on $13,500 unsecured bond.
