Town of Seaford recognizes veterans on Veteran’s Day

SEAFORD, Del. – Town officials along with community members gathered at Seaford High School to honor a group of local veterans.

According to the Captain of the United States Army of Retired Veterans Pete Bohn, the ceremony honored veterans who fought during World War 2, the Korean War, the Vietnam War, as well as the Iraq War.

Bohn said the ceremony was organized by the Seaford Veteran’s Committee because it is critical to remember those who have fought for our freedom.

“We cannot forget to honor those who we’ve lost at the wars, and we must continue to honor the living veterans and this is what this ceremony does,” said Bohn.

“Never forget,” said Bohn.

The Seaford High School Naval Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps as well as Boy and Girls Scouts also participated in the Veteran’s Day ceremony.
