Physical therapy center opens new facility

BERLIN, Md. – Atlantic Physical Therapy is now expanding their services southward, officially opening their new facility in Berlin Thursday afternoon.

APT has been operating for 20 years, offering therapeutic exercise and home programs to help locals get the pain relief they need.

This new facility is located adjacent to the Atlantic General Hospital, and with its opening, those who need services in the Berlin region will no longer have to make the travel to Ocean Pines.

“We wanted to better serve the people of Berlin, because they were coming all the way to Ocean Pines.  So we wanted to make a location that’s more available to them,” said owner Bobby Hammond.

This new facility is now one of nine throughout the region.
