Officials: Director of Wicomico Co. Humane Society on leave

WICOMICO COUNTY, Md. – Officials report that the director of the Wicomico County Humane Society has been placed on administrative leave.

On Friday, Kevin Usilton, the now Interim Director of the Wicomico County Humane Society, confirmed the information with 47ABC’s Kelsie Cairns. Details surrounding Aaron Balsamo’s leave status is limited at this time.

Balsamo began the leadership role with the Wicomico County Humane Society in March 2016, according to his LinkedIn profile.

According to the First State Animal Center and SPCA website, Interim Director Kevin Usilton is listed as the Camden, DE organization’s director.
