A man was arrested after police say he agreed to pay a woman for sex and overdosed while a child was present in the Harrington residence.
The Harrington Police Department says on Friday, police and EMS responded to the 100 Block of Fleming Street for a report of an overdose. Once on scene, police say they found 58-year-old Charles Reynolds unresponsive in the residence. Officers report that EMS administered Narcan and Reynolds was able to regain consciousness. Law enforcement says the Harrington man was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
According to the report, further investigation revealed that Reynolds was caring for a 10-year-old child in the residence when he overdosed. Police also report that Reynolds had a woman in the residence who he agreed to pay for sex.
Upon his release from the hospital, Reynolds was arrested and charged with endangering the welfare of a child and patronizing a prostitute.
He was later released on $1,100 unsecured bond.
