Redskins, new wave of talent open up training camp
The Washington Redskins officially opened up their 2018-19 season with day one of training camp in Richmond, Virginia on Thursday.
In front of hundreds of fans, returning 'Skins such Jordan Reed, Ryan Kerrigan and Josh Norman led the Burgundy and Gold onto the field for the first time.
But, also there was a fresh set of faces, including a highly-anticipate 2018 draft class, and their newest acquisition, QB Alex Smith.
Washington traded for Smith during the offseason when it was announced that Kirk Cousins would pursue a different route, which ended up being the Minnesota Vikings.
