Harvick coasts to second career Monster Mile victory

For the second time in his career, Kevin Harvick is the champion of the Monster Mile.

Leading for a majority of the race, the #4 Jimmy John's Ford beat out teammate Clint Boyer and Daniel Suarez.

The winner of qualifying, Kyle Larson, was supposed to start at the pole, but was sent to the back of the race for failing a pre-race inspection.

Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series leader Kyle Busch was a DNF after blowing his drive shaft midway through the 400-mile trek.

NASCAR will head back to the first state in the fall for the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series playoffs.
