Del. drug investigation leads to arrest of Harrington couple

Law enforcement reports that a Harrington couple was arrested in connection with a joint drug investigation, in Delaware.
Delaware State Police say on Thursday, the DSP Kent County Drug Unit executed a search warrant at a home in the unit block of Short Street, during an investigation of illegal drug sales, in Harrington. According to authorities, 24-year-old Rachel Bellerby, and her boyfriend, 32-year-old Christopher Hurd, both of Harrington, were located at the scene. Troopers say Bellerby was located in the home and Hurd was located by Dover DEA while walking down the street.
According to the report, a search of the home revealed 16.97 grams of heroin/fentanyl, 5.3 grams of marijuana, and approximately $400.00 in suspected drug money. Both Hurd and Bellerby were taken into custody without incident.
Hurd is charged with Manufacture, Delivers or Posses, with Intent to Deliver a Controlled Substance Tier 4. , possession of a controlled Substance in a Tier 5 quantity, manufacture, delivers, or possesses with intent to manufacture, deliver a controlled substance, endangering the welfare of a child, conspiracy second degree, and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was later turned over to the James t. Vaughn Correctional Institution on a $114,500 cash bond.
Bellerby is charged with manufacture, delivers or posses, with intent to deliver a controlled substance Tier 4., possession of a controlled substance in a Tier 5 quantity, endangering the welfare of a child, conspiracy second degree, and possession of drug paraphernalia. She was later released on a $44,500 unsecured bond.
DSP was assisted by the Dover Police Department, the Dover Drug Enforcement Agency Post (DEA), Delaware State Police Governor's Task Force (GTF) and the Harrington Police Department in this investigation.
