Update: traffic stop turned missing person

Update: Allan Dortez Jones arrested in Easton
39-year-old Allan Dortez Jones. Law enforcement now call him a fugitive from the law, while his family tells 47 ABC he's a missing man and they're worried about his well-being.
47 ABC spoke with both sides.
Starting with the Jones family, concerned about what happened Friday, the night he was last seen. They tell 47 ABC this all started at the Wetcher Whistle liquor store, in Federalsburg
His father tells 47 ABC they got this information from a Deputy Jerry Stivers on Saturday.
"He said 'well I was sitting across from the liquor store watching Dortez he went in the liquor store came out with some liquor," saying further, " Terrell said, 'why were you sitting out watching him' he said 'well I knew Dortez' license was suspended' and Terrell said 'why didn't you stop him when he left the liquor store".
We spoke with Lieutenant Donald Baker with the Caroline County Sheriff's Office. He tells 47 ABC the family never spoke directly with Deputy Stivers.
He did however confirm that Deputy Stivers was the investigating officer that spotted Jones Friday night in the parking lot of Wetcher Whistle, but they would not confirm if Jones went into the liquor store.
We went to the establishment ourselves and looked through their security footage, but the video recorded Friday evening until later that night did not appear to show Jones entering the store.
Although we're told police found footage from the exterior cameras that revealed Jones' car in the parking lot.
Where the family's story matches up with that of investigators is that Deputy Stivers followed Jones under the suspicion that he was driving with a suspended license for a past drunk driving incident.
Police tell us Jones pulled over at one point but Stivers didn't get out of his car or turn on his lights. Lieutenant Baker says Stivers waited because he was calling for back up.
Jones allegedly started driving away and was then pulled over farther down the road, although this time Stivers apparently initiated a traffic stop. We're told MSP trooper Lyles pulled up to the scene shortly after and witnessed Jones taking off in his car running over Deputy Stivers foot in the process.
47 ABC asked to see the dash cam video from Stivers' patrol car, but we're told it wasn't working Friday night. It appears a work order had been placed to repair the dash cam, but they couldn't tell us when that was submitted.
We put in a similar request to MSP but we were told the trooper's vehicle has no camera. Neither Deputy Stivers nor Trooper Lyles had body cameras.
The family is aware Jones will be facing charges for his actions, but they say the priority at this point should be making sure he's safe since they claim they haven't heard from him in days.
Although Jones is still missing he faces several charges. This include assault of a police officer, 1st degree assault, driving with a suspended license, fleeing and eluding police, as well as a possession of marijuana (less than 10 grams).
