Traffic stop turned missing person

Update: Allan Dortez Jones arrested in Easton
The Jones Family has been waiting for one call, a call that would put all their worries at ease. It's been three days now since they've seen Allan Dortez Jones, better known to them as Dortez.
"We're not sleeping concerned where he is every minute of every second, he would be contacting somebody. He would contact his dad, he would contact his brother, he has been in trouble before he has no problem calling his daddy," explains Dortez's cousin, Valerie Ellis.
The 39-year-old was last seen around 9 P-M Friday when he was stopped by an officer from the Caroline County Sheriff's office on Preston and American Corner Roads, accused of driving on a suspended license.
While Jones was pulled over, he fled the scene, apparently running over the officer's foot in the process, but only to later crash his vehicle farther up the road near Payne and Craft Road, according to deputies.
They say he ran on foot after the crash into the open fields and Jones has yet to be found, even after four search and rescues crews, including a Maryland State Police aviation unit.
After hearing the news late Friday night, the Jones family set out as their own search party, hoping to get answers
Ellis tells 47 ABC, "My cousin, his brother, and everybody else went out looking for him. We looked, we looked. If he's in a white t-shirt, black pants, and black shoes and what it was 25 on Friday, freezing where you going to hide in the woods now that it's fall and not be seen."
The family is baffled.
"Three days later, no footprints, no nothing in the field, no wallet, no nothing," exclaims Ellis.
They say regardless of what may have happened, they just want to know he's safe. Although they are searching, the family tells 47 ABC they have questions for police.
They say the officer told them he watched Jones at a nearby liquor store, identifying Jones there and waiting until he started driving to make the traffic stop.
But Sheriff's deputies say the officer identified Jones while he was driving, not before.
If you have any information on Jones' whereabouts call the Sheriff's Department at 410-479-2515.
