Pocomoke Upsets Crisfield, Advance To Regional Title

The Pocomoke boys soccer team traveled to Crisfield on Friday afternoon and upset the top seeded Crabbers 4-2. The Warriors advance to host Colonel Richardson.
The Warriors would go straight to work quickly building a 2-0 lead after getting goals from Gus Enriques and Yuri Larimore. Shortly after that, the lead would stretch to 3-0 after a corner by Gus would curve towards the far post where it would be headed home. Crisfield wasn’t ready to go away just yet, getting a strike just before half from Jordan Sterling. Pocomoke began to pack it in and play defense in the second half before adding another goal late from Dylan Petterson. The Crabbers would draw a PK where Ben Daum would send it in to get his team back within one. But with the game still in the balance, Ethan Petterson would come up with one great save after another to close out the match for the win.
