MEET HERSHEY

Hershey is a 3-year-old long haired cat, available for adoption through the Humane Society of Somerset County

is time for pets on the plaza — where we meet homeless shelter animals — in search of a forever home. today — we introduce you to hershey. here’s 47 abc’s leanne guyette. this shy fella is hershey. he is a three year old — long haired cat — with a beautiful black and white coat. hershey was adopted from the humane society of somerset county as a kitten — but it didn’t work out. he has since returned to the shelter — and is now looking for a new home — that is better suited to his needs. as you can see — hershey is a little on the reserved side. his perfect home would be quiet — with no kids — and would have him as the only cat. he will do best in a low key environment — with a slow paced family. hershey will likely take a few days to get settled into a new digs — but his foster mom says after he gets comfortable — he is quite affectionate — and enjoys head booping his caretakers. hershey’s long black and white fur is super soft — and he did like being pet while we snuggled on the couch. his large fluffy tail apparently makes a great face hider — and is sure to make an awesome feather like duster for those low lying cobwebs in his new home. hershey seems to like squeezing himself into boxes — like our little wooden crate — so his new home should be chock-full of five sided funhouses. can you find room in your heart for hershey? for 47 abc — i’m leanne guyette. hershey is available for adoption through the humane society of somerset county — for an adoption fee of fifty dollars. he is already up to date on his shots — and has been neutered. for more information about hershey — contact the humane society at 410-546-24-24. coming up we’ll have a look at what’s coming up on
