Fatal crash shuts down roads in Milton

Members of the Delaware State Police say they are investigating a crash that killed one person Thursday night.

Troopers say a single vehicle struck a utility pole on Harbeson Road in the area of Diamond Farm Road around 7:48 p.m.

At this point, we know one person has died, and another has been taken to the hospital with undetermined injures.

While the crash investigation assumes, Harbeson Road south of Diamond Farm Road is currently closed.  Commuters are advised to seek alternate routes of travel.
