Dover PD investigating late night pawn shop burglary

Members of the Dover Police Department say they are investigating a late night burglary that happened at a Dover pawn shop.

According to investigators, the preliminary findings show that between 10:15PM and 11:59PM on Monday, suspects cut a hole into the aluminum siding of the Capital Pawn Shop, located at 324 Martin Street, in order to get in to the building. Once inside, the suspects apparently stole jewelry items and several handguns and rifles. The Dover Police Department is currently working with the Capital Pawn Shop and the ATF in this investigation in order to determine the number and types of weapons stolen in this incident.
