UPDATE: Two arrested after officer involved shooting in Dover

Jamera Fisher, 25, of Dover and Kylen Ewell, 22, of Harrington

The Dover Police Department reports that two arrests have been made following the officer involved shooting that happened on Tuesday.

According to the release, after the Street Crimes and Probation and Parole arrested Jamera Fisher, 25, of Dover, he was found to be in possession of a loaded handgun, 39 bags of heroin, prescription drugs, and 9.5 grams of marijuana.

Fisher was committed to the Department of Correction on $90,000 on the following charges:

  • Four counts if reckless endangering 1st degree
  • Possession of firearm by person prohibited, drug possession
  • Possession of firearm during commission of felony
  • Possession of heroin
  • Possession of marijuana
  • Possession of a controlled substance
  • Drug paraphernalia
  • Conspiracy 3rd degree

The passenger in the car with Fisher, Kylea Ewell, 22, of Harrington, has also been arrested.

Ewell was committed to JTVCC in default of $1,100 secured bond on the following charges:

  • Possession of marijuana
  • Conspiracy 3rd degree
  • Possession of heroin
  • Possession of controlled substance
  • Possession of drug paraphernalia

The Dover Police Department says it is continuing to investigate the incident at this time and is working with the Department of Correction and the Delaware Attorney General’s Office to ensure a thorough investigation is completed.
