Police say they are looking for four robbery suspects in Queen Anne’s County

Police say they are looking for three suspects after a reported robbery in Queen Anne’s County.

According to the Queen Anne’s County Sheriff’s Office, four men went into the Sunglass Hut at the Queenstown Outlets on Monday around 12PM, and scattered around the store. Officials say on cue from one of the suspects, they started to grab as many sunglasses as possible, and then ran from the store. Officials say afterwards, a sales clerk gave a short chase while trying to call security on her phone when one of the suspects took her phone, and hit her in the face.

The Queen Anne’s County Sheriff’s Office says the suspects took 30-40 pairs of sunglasses with an estimated value over $10,000. The stolen phone was reportedly an I Phone 6 with a life-proof case.

A witness seeing the four suspects running from the store was reportedly able to give a description of the car they left in, a red four door sedan which drove in an unknown direction. Officials say, the store clerk was later checked by paramedics at the scene for minor injury.

Officials say the suspects were all men with two red jackets, and the other two wearing dark colored jackets. Officials say, the ages of the men ranged from their teens to early 40s.

Officials say the Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Unit responded to take the investigation and was assisted by Maryland State Police Crime Lab.
