Salisbury University hosting student art exhibit

The Guerrieri University Center Art Space at Salisbury University will be hosting a photography exhibit by current student, Mike Durkin, now through Wednesday, August 31.
Durkin is a senior at SU studying new media from Ocean City, planning to further his art education in graduate school upon graduating.
Titled “Whatever Forever,” the exhibit is meant to incorporate Durkin’s own personal experiences and ideas into the art.
“From the personal to the political, I want my art to serve two basic functions,” Durkin said. “I am interested in creating art that communicates ideas, experiences and moments with other people in ways that they can hopefully find meaning in.”
The public is welcome to visit this free exhibit located in the campus’ Guerrieri Center’s second-floor concourse.
