Dover brothers sentenced on drug dealing offenses

Delaware State Police say two brothers were arrested for being the main players in a group selling drugs out of the Capitol Park neighborhood, near Dover.

According to the report, Jermaine Brinkley, 30, was charged after a wiretap investigation from late 2014 through early 2015. Delaware Police say Brinkley’s 26-year-old brother, George, was also involved.

Jermaine Brinkley pleaded guilty to to five counts of drug dealing, two counts of aggravated possession, and one count of conspiracy second degree, and was sentenced to a total of 14 years in prison, followed by 1 year of level four work release, and 18 months level three probation. He was sentenced on June 30.

George Brinkley pleaded guilty as well, to four counts of drug dealing, one count of conspiracy second degree, and one count of resisting arrest, and was sentenced to a total of 8 and a half years in prison, followed by 18 months of level three probation. He was sentenced on June 29.
