UPDATE: Surveillance photos released in Ellendale dollar store robbery

Troopers in Delaware say, they are searching for a suspect in the robbery of a local dollar store late Tuesday evening.

According to DSP, a male suspect entered the Dollar General store, located on Beach Highway, just before 10:00 PM, armed with an unknown type of handgun. Troopers say, he approached two store employees at the counter and demanded cash. The clerks reportedly complied and turned over an undisclosed amount of money. Troopers report, the suspect then fled the store in a westerly direction. The employees were reportedly uninjured in this incident.

Reports say, the suspect was last seen wearing all dark colored clothing and dark colored mask over his face.
