Authorities searching for walkway inmate in Dover

Law enforcement in Delaware says they are looking for an inmate, who didn’t return to a local correctional facility, from an authorized work pass.
The Delaware Department of Correction says 24-year-old Kyle W. Lawton didn’t returned to the Morris Community Corrections Center in Dover, after leaving on an authorized work pass. Authorities say attempts to find Brown have been unsuccessful, so his status has been changed to escapee.
Brown is described as a white man, standing 6′ 4″ tall, weighing 200 pounds, with red/auburn hair, and green eyes. Lawton was apparently serving time for a violation of probation on a violations of probation on an original charge of assault second degree. His last known address was in Seaford, according to authorities.
Officials say Level 4 facilities are for offenders who are transitioning back into the community, and are not secured like level 5 prisons. Offenders are allowed to leave the building for work, to look for a job, or attend approved treatment sessions.
