Three arrested on drug charges in Laurel

29-year-old Kimberly Gray; 50-year-old Lydia Ross; and 31-year-old Norwood Whaley, all of Laurel, Del.

Three Laurel residents have been arrested, after Police say they were selling crack cocaine.

Laurel Police say on Friday, Officers searched a residence in the Carvel Gardens Apartments. At the home, Officials say they arrested 29-year-old Kimberly Gray, 50-year-old Lydia Ross, and 31-year-old Norwood Whaley.

Gray and Ross were charged with felony possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance in a tier 2 quantity – crack cocaine, felony possession of a controlled substance in a tier 2 quantity – crack cocaine, and five counts of possession of drug paraphernalia. Gray was ordered to be held at the Sussex Correctional Institution on a $21,000 secured bond.

Ross, who was additionally charged with maintaining a drug property, is also being held at SCI, on a $25,500 bond.

Whaley was charged with felony possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance-marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Whaley also apparently had five active warrants issued for his arrest from numerous courts and a warrant issued out of the Laurel Police Department for assault 2nd degree from a previous complaint. He is being held at SCI on a $37,049 bond.
