Ocean City teen accused of firing air-soft gun at passing vehicles

An Ocean City teen, is facing charged, after Police say he fired a replica gun, at a vehicle.
Ocean City Police say on Sunday around noon, Officers responded to 14th Street at St. Louis Avenue, for reports of a weapons violation. Once on scene, Officers say they found 18-year-old Devin Gales, being detained by two people. An investigation showed that Gales had fired a replica firearm into a passing vehicle, before fleeing towards St. Louis Avenue.
Police say the two men from the car then chased Gales, holding him until Police arrived. Officers reportedly found the replica firearm nearby and, say despite its close resemblance to a handgun, it was actually determined to be an airsoft BB gun.
OCPD says they charged Gales with possession of a replica gun, discharging an air-gun within city limits, two counts of reckless endangerment and two counts of second degree assault. He was ordered to be held on a $15,000 bond at the Ocean City Public Safety Building.
