GUESS WHO CAME TO DINNER?

Many of our Weather Watcher friends joined us for a catered dinner by 2J’s BBQ and were treated to watching our newscast live in the recently built virtual news center.  Following the newscast, we shared some Q&A time with our Weather Watchers, the folks who serve as our eyes and ears across Delmarva.  Back row, left to right:  Leendert Van dee ham, Bobbie Parker, Ted Parker, Paul Yanucci, Stan Dobies, Betty Miles, Joe Miles, Tom Lockerman, Eric Taylor, Nancy Taylor, Station owner Brian Lane, Skip Holmburg, Connie Holmburg.  Seated middle row:  Sports Director Spenser Tilus, Anchor David Caldwell, Anchor Emily Lampa, Meteorologist Travis Michels; standing: Meteorologist Jaisol Martinez.  Front row: Reporter Lili Zheng, Anchor Michelle Mackonochie, Reporter/Anchor Jobina Fortson, Carol Loy, Lois Goepel, Michelle Wheatley, Kenny Wheatley.

HACK ALERT!

  • The 47ABC phone system was hacked on the 4th of July and some 900+ minutes to a 3rd world country were charged to our system.  How did this happen and how can you prevent it from happening to you?  The point of entry to our system was a voice mail that did not have a security password.  Lesson learned!  If your home voice mail system does not have a secure password, it would seem to be a wise decision to add one.
