Information sought on armed robbery in Rehoboth

Police in Rehoboth are looking for information, after two kids were reportedly robbed at gunpoint.

Rehoboth Beach Police say on Friday, around 10:30 PM, Officers responded to the pedestrian bridge, for reports of an armed robbery. Once on scene, the Officer reportedly met with two juveniles, who said that they were approached by a man, who reportedly pulled out a black semi-automatic handgun, and apparently robbed the minors of money.

Police describe the suspect as a man in his 20s, with a brown goatee and shoulder length hair, last seen wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt with some sort of emblem on his left breast area, light colored pants and flip flops. Police say the suspect got into a smaller model vehicle that was parked on Stockley Street, near the Tot Lot and pedestrian bridge.
