Home healthcare provider reportedly steals patient’s debit card in Harrington

A home healthcare worker in Delaware, is now facing charges, after she reportedly stole a patient’s debit card.

Harrington Police say on Tuesday they were contacted by a 68-year-old woman, who said that her home healthcare worker, 21-year-old Christina Mohr, of Frederica, was using her debit card without permission.

Police say they found that Mohr used the victim’s card at several different places, with purchases totaling more than $3,000. After Police filed charges, Mohr turned herself in to Harrington Police Department.

She was charged with one count each of theft over $1,500 where the victim is 62 years of age or older, and unlawful use of a credit card where the victim is 62 years of age or older. She was later released on $1,000 bond.
