Crews respond to car fire on Route 13 in Princess Anne

Crews are on the scene of a car fire on Route 13 in Princess Anne.

The fire began around noon on Saturday, when two occupants were traveling Northbound on Route 13. Officials from Princess Anne Volunteer Fire Department and Somerset County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene.

We’re told the occupants are not injured.

The fire has been put out; however, we’re told crews are expected to be on the scene for about 20 more minutes.

The owner of the vehicle, Tephanie Nock says, “We saw smoke coming from the heat area and I pulled the car over because it was getting worse. I’m glad I did because look, this was the end result.”
