Pocomoke Boys Basketball Coast Past Mardela

The Pocomoke boys basketball team jumped out to an early lead and held on to defeat Mardela 73-39. The win improves the Pocomoke to 11-1, while the loss drops Mardela to 2-10.

Mardela would jump out to the early lead in this one after they had great balance across the board. Several different played would find their way into the scoring table, led by Raymir Smith and Licurtis Whitney. Mardela would try and fight their way back behind the hot hand of Caleb Corbin, but it wouldn’t be enough as Pocomoke would roll to the win.

Pocomoke returns to action Tuesday when they travel to play at Wicomico High School, while Mardela returns to the court Tuesday when they host Crisfield.
