Laurel Edges Nandua At Home

The Laurel boys basketball team edged out Nandua late Thursday night for a 52-44 win. The win improves the Bulldogs to 11-3.

They would force several turnover that would lead to leak out baskets. The Warriors though would hang tough, and an Evan McGregor long ball at the buzzer would cut Laurels lead to 29-20 headed into half time. Nandua would continue to fight, and got within 4 before the biggest sequence of the game. The Bulldogs would gets a steal and a lay up. That was soon followed by a technical foul on the Warriors Tyreem Blake, who would not return to the game after scoring 15 points to that point. Without arguably their best player, the Warriors struggled to score in the half court, while Warren would get out into the open court to put away the game for the win.
