Clippers Football Improve To 2-2, Down Snow Hill
Salisbury, MD – The James M. Bennett football team improved to .500 on the year after defeating Snow Hill 48-20. The Clippers improve their record to 2-2, while the loss drops the Eagles to 1-3.
Early on it was a defensive battle as neither team was able to grab much of a lead til the Clippers finally found the end zone, when Jacob Larmore capped off a drive with a 1 yard touchdown run. That lead would hold most the rest of the first til finally the Clippers running game got loose. LJ Carter would bust a 21 yard score up the gut to push the lead to 15-0. Shortly there after, he would break another big run, this time from 49 yards out to make it 21-0. The Clippers just kept pushing from there, as Larmore would add another score to put this thing away early.
Bennett is back in action next Thursday when they host North Caroline while Snow Hill returns to action Friday when they play at Kent County.
