Community help sought for Del. teen

A Sussex County family is in need of a kidney donor for their daughter.
Her condition is unique so there are specific requirements for potential donors, but the family of 17-year-old Becky Reinas has sent up additional ways the community can still help.
There is a GoFundMe account set up for funds to support Reinas and her family. As of Monday afternoon, there was just over 1,100 dollars raised.
The family is also selling long sleeve t-shirts at 20 dollars a piece. Reinas’ mother Mindy Alderfer explains on the left side of the shirt, there are three ribbons intertwined to represent three specific medical issues.
“There’s a lime green one for my Lyme, there’s red for her cardio and there’s green for her kidney disease so it’s just neat to have someone purchase them and know that the community is wearing them.” Explains Alderfer, “It’s just really awesome.”
Alderfer says they’re trying to sell 50 shirts by November 16.
