Thousands make it out to Salisbury Jaycee's 71st annual Christmas Parade

Thousands make it out to Salisbury...

SALISBURY, Md. - Thousands of people lined the streets for the 71st annual Jaycee's Christmas Parade in Salisbury on Sunday.

This year's theme was Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree.

Marching bands, first responders and even the 47ABC weather team all paraded down the streets.

The weather was perfect for the parade.

We caught up with our very own Chief Meteorologist Daniel Johnson who said kids were enjoying the day more than anyone.

Johnson said, "Today has been amazing. We've been seeing a lot of kids out here, they're having a lot of fun, the best part is the kids having the candy canes, I mean it's so much fun out here. Merry Christmas to everyone!"

Sunday's parade started at the civic center and ended at East Main and Ward.
