The Stephen Decatur wrestling team pulled out a win late at home against Kent Island 32-24. The Seahawks return to the mat Monday when they travel to Polytech, while Kent Island host Queen Anne's on Friday. 

Riders come up short late to the Spartans

Caesar Rodney hosted St Marks Tuesday night in a non-conference match-up that had the Riders coming out strong, but they ultimately lost their grove and came up short late to lose it at home 47-43. 

From Small Town USA, Too Team USA, Taylor West Makes US National Team

Taylor West finished her college career with a resume that most athletes would dream of. Finishing her last year as a Duke earning conference Player of the Year, and being named an All-American. The Pocomoke grad had lived up to and exceed all the exceptions she had after helping the Warriors to 3 consecutive state championships playing under Head Coach Susan Pusey. And while those achievements are enough for any player to hang their hat on, West felt there was something left for her to do.
