First Responders Who Make a Difference Contest
First Responders Who Make a Difference is a monthly honor designed to recognize First Responders who make a difference in our community. First Responders are defined as active fire, EMT and police personnel. Each month the winning First Responder is chosen by a selection committee from all submitted nominations. First Responder nominations may be submitted by any person on the Delmarva Peninsula including family, friends, and acquaintances of nominees.
To nominate a First Responder, complete and submit the form found on the Contest page of 47abc.com. The nomination period is open from May 29, 2023, through November 26, 2023. Each month (June 2023 through Nov. 2023), a First Responder is selected from all entries and is recognized by 47ABC as a “First Responder Who Makes a Difference” award winner. Winners will receive a framed certificate and gift basket containing a $20 car wash gift card and a $25 Tire Pros Gift Card. Each monthly winner will be entered into the drawing for a Grand Prize of a set of Hercules Brand Passenger/Light Truck Tires valued at $1000 as set by Tire Pros.
The Grand Prize drawing will take place on December 11th and the station will notify the winner. The winner will pick up their tires at the closest participating Tire Pro Dealer Location. If the winner does not pick up their prize within 2 weeks of notification, their prize will be forfeited, and a 2nd drawing will take place. Employees of Marquee Broadcasting, Inc. and its affiliates and associated companies, sponsors and their immediate families are not eligible to participate. All submissions become the property of Marquee Broadcasting, Inc. Marquee Broadcasting, Inc., their agencies, and parent companies assume no responsibility or liability for injuries incurred during the acceptance or use of this prize and is not responsible for any lost or missing entries.
