Hi Delmarva! My name is Haley Rae, I started reporting for WMDT-47, in June 2025. I recently graduated from Loyola University Maryland as a Communications and Media major, where I was also a Division I swimmer!
My experiences range from interning at WBAL-TV 11 Baltimore, where I assisted with investigative reporting and produced news packages, to working with NBC Sports during the 2024 Paris Olympics, where I helped create viral digital content. On campus, I managed media content for Loyola’s swim and dive team, blending my athletic and creative passions.
From creating “hype reels” for my swim team in high school to producing Emmy-winning student broadcasts, I’ve always believed in the impact of a well-told story. I’m thrilled to keep learning, growing, and contributing to the industry, one meaningful story at a time.
