Hello Delmarva!

I’m Drew Wolf, WMDT’s newest weekend meteorologist. I joined the WMDT Storm Team in June 2026. I was born and raised in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania and graduated with my bachelor’s degree in meteorology and minor in emergency management from Millersville University. While in college, I was fortunate to have two fantastic internships at WGAL 8, stationed in Lancaster, PA. During that time, I assisted the Chief Meteorologist and Storm Team with creating weekly calendar events, editing and making graphics, producing forecasts, posting on social media, as well as shadowing meteorologists and reporters in the studio and live out in the field.

I have loved all things weather and always knew that I wanted to become a meteorologist at a very young age. Instead of watching cartoons as a kid, I preferred to tune in to a local news station, or watch the Weather Channel. Some natural disasters in the past that really have intrigued me were the Japan earthquake and tsunami in 2011, the major flooding that occurred in Central Pennsylvania following the remnants of Hurricanes Irene and Lee, and the unforgettable Halloween Nor’Easter. Hurricanes and tropical systems intrigue me.

When I’m not tracking storms, I enjoy hanging with my kitten, playing video games, and exploring the Delmarva Peninsula. I’m so excited to begin my professional career at WMDT and serve the Delmarva community! Equally, I’d love to hear from our viewers!
