I’m Chris Brunk, a Sports Reporter/Producer here at WMDT. I grew up right next to the University of Maryland in College Park, so I’ve always been a big fan of the Terps. During my time at Salisbury University, I developed a passion for broadcast media. I had the privilege of covering SU’s terrific athletic programs as a broadcaster and tech for the student-run Sea Gull Sports Network. I even got to call a national semifinal game for men’s lacrosse!
As much as I love sports, what really makes me tick is storytelling. It’s something we do constantly without even realizing: the stories we tell each other—and ourselves—are what make us who we are. I’m so excited to have the chance here at WMDT to tell Delmarva’s story. I started at WMDT reporting and producing news, and am excited to now be a part of the WMDT Sports department.
